Quarterly Consultation Meeting with Beneficiaries/Impact Group

Introduction
On Saturday, December 20, 2025, the Ashraf Foundation MAPinCBR Program Impact Group meeting was held at the Ashraf Foundation Head Office in Chougacha, Jashore. The meeting was presided over by the Executive Director of Ashraf Foundation, M. Rasel Ashraf, who emphasized that each Impact Group member will contribute positively during the month and report their activities in the next meeting.
The meeting was moderated and presented by Md. Nazrul Islam, Field Trainer of Ashraf Foundation. Ten active members of the Impact Group attended the meeting punctually. The objectives and goals of the group were elaborated, along with the details of the supporting organizations, including the Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) and Liliane Fonds, the financial sponsor of the program. The project, titled “The Meaningful Participation and Inclusion of Children and Youths with Disabilities in All Domains of CBR Program,” aims to promote inclusive participation of children and youth with disabilities in all aspects of community-based rehabilitation (CBR).
Detailed Discussion
Field Trainer Md. Nazrul Islam outlined the roles and responsibilities of Impact Group members and presented all program activities in detail. This was followed by an open discussion and a question-and-answer session.
Some of the participants’ contributions included:
Takia Khatun: Highlighted that the group will work together to solve any problems faced by members.
Habiba Khatun: Shared her experience of helping a helpless person by guiding them, emphasizing the joy of kindness.
Sunnaty Fatema Chaya: Expressed her enjoyment in planting trees over the past few days.
Upoher Parvez: Recognized the Impact Group as a powerful entity working to uphold the rights of people with disabilities.
S. M. Maheem Reza: Suggested advocating for building ramps in schools and colleges to improve accessibility for students with disabilities.
Akash Ahamed: Pledged to help group members overcome challenges and encourage those hesitant to obtain disability cards.
Sanim Uddin: Emphasized that solving problems is the primary goal of the Impact Group.
Yeasmin Akter: Highlighted the group’s role in supporting underprivileged individuals to help them reintegrate into normal life.
Md. Wayakimul Islam Rifat: Stressed collective leadership and collaboration using modern technology such as Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter, IMO, LinkedIn, and YouTube to remain connected.
Conclusion
The Executive Director, M. Rasel Ashraf , thanked all participants for their active involvement and concluded the meeting by wishing everyone good health and well-being.
